VALENTINES DAY

Trace and i had never ever baked anything before.
I dont know why, but Tracey decided to make a cake for her boyfriend
( this was super unusual, as she never helps to make, clean or cook anything for JMBYH!)

According to Trace; Youna was the expert at baking cakes and making cookies
so on the 14th of February i decided to join their adventures on making love cakes for bfs
and get a little bit of help from youna.

1. Shopping took us 2 hours. ( i really don;t know why.)
2.Tracey's oven was super old so we didnt know how to turn it on.
Once we got it to start heating up,
we put our cake mixes in the oven and waited 1.5 hours till we realised it was on GRILL.

3. The oven was a mess
but in the end
with Youna's help and a little bit of creativity we made it!!

Our first attempts to bake cake ( a moment to remember.)

note to bubble feet:
yes helen hong: i will bake u a cake.
and no. you dont need to lose 10kgs. just lose 3 :)

note to taku:
i know the cake was abit too sweet:)

I know its not true; but it makes me smile:))))))

Prelude.

In 40 days i will be starting a new life in Japan- Niigata ;countryside.
According to my boyfriend Taku;
i will most probably pick up a thick and ugly accent:)
( ive decided to interpret "ugly" as a code name for "cute.)

I feel like i'm caught in between two worlds right now;
half excited for what's to come
and afraid of leaving things here in sydney.
Kind of like Mister Toru Okada
who is the protagonist in the book im reading at the moment.
